Looking back at the vibrant artistic community of 2015, this photograph captures a deeply inspiring milestone for my teacher, Chanthorn Art. This was the night he was officially recognized as one of the "Top 5 Artistes at Bkach Gallery".  

​The energy on stage that night was undeniably electric. Standing under the bright gallery lights alongside the event hosts and fellow talented creators, the finalists proudly showcased their masterpieces to the audience. The artworks presented that night featured striking, traditional Khmer-inspired figures and warm, rich tones that spoke volumes about the artists' roots. Spending time working on my own canvas pieces and studying the intricate details of ផ្កាយ and ក្បាច់ ខ្មែរ makes me appreciate his technical mastery and deep connection to our cultural heritage on that stage even more.
